Types of Dog Training

We have several options for dog training here at Dog’s Day Out:

Include:  Puppy Pounce, The Basics, Beyond The Basics/CGC Prep, Courteous Canine Crash Course, Tricks, K9 Nose Works, Agility, and Difficult Dog. All of our group classes are limited in size so you are guaranteed individual attention.

Select classes are also offered by Dog’s Day Out trainers in Georgetown at Tails of the City! See our Georgetown and Ballard schedules for class dates and times.

If you have a specific problem or your schedule just won’t permit a group class, private training sessions are offered on-site at $80/hour or $110/90 minutes at our Ballard or Georgetown location. We also serve limited areas for in-home dog training at $100/hour, $140/90 minutes.

Dog training sessions during the day consist of intensive one-on-one training time during regular day care hours. Day training programs are tailored specifically for each dog. All day training clients must start with a one hour private consultation with the trainer where a specific curriculum will be designed according to the needs and goals of the dog and owner. During the day, dogs will spend exercise and socialization time with our day care dogs and will receive 1 hour (usually broken into multiple smaller sessions) of private one-on-one work with a trainer.
