We differ from many dog day care centers in three ways:

1. We are dedicated to remaining small (only 14 dogs allowed per day) to prevent potential problems related to too many dogs in one space, and so that all dogs are guaranteed individual attention.

2. We maintain a strong focus on positive education, behavior and training. We are a training and behavior center with all staff members having extensive knowledge in canine body language and behavior, all of whom have, or are working towards,  trainer and fear-free certifications. Thus, we are able to avoid any problematic behaviors that could occur by recognizing them and stopping them before they escalate.

3. We’re pioneers! We have been in this business since 2000! We are the longest remaining facility in Seattle. We have experience and we continue with our passion for behavior, by continuing to learn.

Because no one should be exercising 8-11 hrs per day, daily schedules will also include periods of quiet time and rest for each dog. If your dog needs a frozen stuffed KONG, chew or treat to help them settle, they get it, at no extra charge to you.

It is extremely important to us that not only does your dog get sufficient exercise while here but also that he leaves us with his manners in tact. We reinforce desired behaviors throughout the day because we know a relaxed, stress-free well-mannered dog is more fun to live with.

If you would like some extra training for your adolescent dog (4.5 months-2 years) we offer TEENS CAMP – SINGLE DAYS  at our Ballard day care on Fridays and our Burien location on Thursdays. In Drop-Off Teens Camps your dog will practice appropriate interaction skills in a managed session with certified trainers. We will be reinforcing appropriate social/play skills, attention skills, breaks and pauses, recall out of play and handling.  We may also work on specific skills such as targeting, stationing and other behaviors that may need some attention in the camp environment. This is more training-focused than our regular day care day with 2 trainers working with 6 dogs.

Registration links for these single day camps can be found on this page and an evaluation is not needed for camp days if your dog has had experience being dropped off somewhere and playing with other dogs off leash. 

DROP-OFF TEENS CAMP – SINGLE DAY 
The Details:

• For adolescent dogs 4.5 months – 2 years. 
• Limit 6 dogs
• Drop off between 8:30am-9:00am
• Pick up between 12:00pm-12:30pm
• $105/day
• All dogs over 14 months must be spayed/neutered, no dogs in heat. 
• NO REFUNDS within 10 days of start date. Camp date exchanges may be made 72 hours in advance of the session pending availability. If exchange is not available, no refunds or partial refunds are made.
